I grew between the hills and the Italian Dolomites. After having quit my IT job, I started traveling around the world on foot, driven by passion and as a therapy. An adventure that has led me through extraordinary countries, cultures and landscapes. Nowadays I assist people in discovering nature and themselves.
The journey & the discovery
My name is Tommaso Lizzi, I’m 34 years old, I have been a web developer, whereas I’ve always been an explorer by passion. Rational, but also a dreamer, I love life and I strongly believe that we have the power to fulfill our dreams by chasing our passions.
At the age of 27, I quit my IT job and I brought a one way ticket to New Zealand, where I have worked and hiked (a lot) for a year and a half. This was my first big trip where I felt an immense feeling of freedom. Then I moved to Australia for two years, where I crossed the whole continent with my 4x4 full of friends, while not seeing a single raindrop for over 6 months. Gigantic territories, multitudes of animal species, hot weather and the horizon that gives you a sense of infinity.
Back to Europe, my next adventure was the Via Alpina: hiking for three months through Italy, Slovenia, Austria, Germany, Lichtenstein and Switzerland. A year in Canada and Alaska, thousands of kilometers by car, on foot, and canoe. Here I have found pristine nature, wilderness, immense forests and ancient trees, fantastic animals, glaciers and the Aurora Borealis.
